Safety, Contraindications & Considerations

Sound-based sessions are a gentle, non-invasive modality. However, they may not be appropriate for everyone at every stage of life.

As the body relaxes and releases stored tension, some individuals may experience a temporary detox or healing response. This is a natural process as the nervous system recalibrates and the body releases what it no longer needs. While uncommon, these responses may include emotional release, fatigue, or feeling temporarily sensitive.

Contraindications

Sound sessions should not be performed for individuals with sound-induced epilepsy.

Cautions

In some cases, sessions may still be possible with modifications. A lighter, more gentle approach can be used to support relaxation while minimizing the likelihood of detox responses. Adjustments may be made based on individual needs and comfort levels.

If you have any questions, concerns, or health considerations, we encourage you to email us or schedule a complimentary consultation before booking. This allows us to determine whether a sound session is appropriate for you at this time.
